Western Spirit Ranches delivers a premier upland bird hunting experience — whether you're bringing your top clients, rewarding a high-performing team, celebrating with family, or heading out solo. We provide the land, the birds, the habitat, and the facilities to host 1 to 30 hunters per day, with licensed guides, championship-caliber dogs, and full bird cleaning and packaging handled for you.

About Western Spirit Ranches
Founded in 1999, Western Spirit Ranches is an Idaho State Fish & Game licensed upland bird shooting preserve located west of Shoshone, Idaho. Our Little Wood preserve offers an exceptional mix of wild birds alongside thousands of stocked pheasants across expansive, high-quality habitat.
We operate August 15th through April 15th and are one of the few upland game preserves in Idaho offering licensed outfitting and guided hunts for solo hunters, groups, and corporate parties alike. Hunters are not restricted to state bag limits and may legally harvest both male and hen birds.
Home-cooked catered meals are available in our lodge upon request. RV parking is on-site, and we're happy to provide local lodging recommendations for overnight guests.
